The Biawak-Pueh 4X4 Trail

home

trips page

Been on a trail where there are no yellow sticky mud? Hah, found one.. sandy and some whitish clay, otherwise all very driveable. Start in Lundu and then turn off into the oil palm plantation that links to Biawak. This sector is almost all white sand and there is little chance for getting bogged. There is a broken bridge with only logs and some kind soul has placed cross braces and ply wood to make it passable. If not drivers will have to drive on logs to get across. Shortly after that, the trail hit the Biawak Road. Turn into Kampung Jakar. In the village, turn left to get off into the trail towards Pueh. Also there are two nice picnic and camping spot and this is marked in the *.gdb route.
