Competition Event

INTERNATIONAL 4X4 CHALLENGE OF SARAWAK

28 - 31 December, 2007

Day 1 - the flag off went as scheduled and the convoy toured the Kuching before making it to the competition site. It was a bright and sunny day and was hot and sunny all day. Thank goodness for the forest cover, it was cool under the trees. Day 1 say its share of mishaps with Serwan (the only Singh in 4x4) rolling his car to its side when winching in SS2, Joe rolling over in SS3, Kudat Kuin slipping off SS4 and being caught between a tree and the bottom of the slope. As far as we know only 2 drivers did not have a DNF - Ah Shin with Ah Soong, and Jacko. It was pretty hard going for most of the competitors. Why? Mud.. thick, thin, soupy, trappy, slippery and mad MUD. Here are the pictures. Enjoy.
