As usual the Kuching competitors are dragging their feet and would
not know if they will be competing until the last minute. A number of
cars are out of action, including the ones from Soon Soon. Also notable
mention that Kudat Kuin will not be competing as his car is still in the
works.
Event details (so far)
24-27 July, 2008
The event would cover 3 different locations. The programme so far is
as follows:
- 22 Jul - Malaysian contingent will convoy from Kuching to
Pontianak and overnight
- 23 Jul - Scrutineering
- 24 Jul - launching ceremony in Pontianak - 1 SS and
convoy to Singakawang
- 25 Jul - Singakawang 9 SS (night convoy out to Ngabang)
- 26 Jul - Ngabang 5 SS
- 27 Jul - Awards function and prize giving
