GUIDED NATURE
TREKS
dot our country in national parks, forest reserve and remote
places off the beaten track.
If you have special interests, we could show them to you especially flora and fauna in the wild. Outdoor Treks has specialist guides, biologist and naturalist who are able to lead these trips - may it be for serious studies or for the enthusiast. Some of these interest covers:
and much more. Whatever duration, ease/difficulty to suit fitness levels, interest, we are able to cater nature walks for you and your group. For specialised tours we rather have smaller groups of up to 8 person. It can also incorporate an over night camping or accommodation in shelters, homestay in native villages, longhouses and national parks. Bako National Park just outside Kuching is one of the smallest but has all the vegetations found in the tropical rainforest and is home to lots of wildlife including the once elusive proboscis monkey. Bako
National Park Day Trip Overnight trips include night nature walks.

Sabah is perhaps the
leading nature destination. There is so much we can write about Sabah
but we'll list the main ones. There are many conservation areas as well as national park, including marine parks. Danum Valley is perhaps the best place to cater to visitors. Kinabalu Park also offers comforts such as cheese cake and a selection of fine wines. In other areas, it gets a bit more rugged. The following is our 1 line take on nature attractions in Sabah. Danum Valley - Borneo Rainforest Lodge is by far the best way to visit the forest. Read our full story here. Danum Valley - conservation area. This area caters for researchers. Kinabalu Park - There are a number of trails in this mountain forest. A guide would be able to highlight the key attraction here. Maliau Basin Conservation Area There are also many other conservation areas at various stages of development Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park - closest to Kota Kinabalu and good for day trip but many more marine and dive sites in Sabah. Sandakan Orang Utan Sanctuary - visit these much loved primate and there are also more attractions in this part of Sabah. There are so many wonderful nature trips and trek that can be done in Sabah.
