Malcolm Jitam, Director, started adventure young while growing up in a para military camp where he learnt to shoot, set animal traps and jungle survival skills from Iban fighting men.

In the 80s  got into more known forms of adventure and became an outdoor adventure guide. He formally started in tourism as a guide and rose of the rank of General Manager within a few years during which time he went back to school and attained an MBA from the University of Hull in Strategic Marketing.

He joined Sarawak Tourism Board as a pioneer staff overseeing marketing and tourism product development. During Malcolm's tenure at STB, he was invovled in state level tourism product development, running state level events such as Le Tour de Langkawi and qualified as a master trainer for the Malaysia Host programme.  

In 1997, he formed an advneture outfit- Outdoor Treks and Advnetures that organised and developed sports adventure events and also conduct adventure skills training. Malcolm was called upon to assist in organising international adventure racing event e.g., Mild Seven Outdoor Quest and Ford Race to Everest. The company also produced and managed the ground arrangements for a number of TV programmes that had been aired to both local and international audiences.

As a person, Malcolm is activtely invovled in sports and was a leading age group mountain biker where he later coached Sarawak's state mountain biking team. With the additon of having rope skills, Malcolm was called to be race director for Eco Games where he also held multi sports adventure racing courses. He brings with him much experience and insight both as an athlete and an event organiser.

Eunice Lin, Director, began working in the hotel industry, at the famed Dynasty Hotel where she took up dragon boat racing rowing for the men's elite team. This led her to other rowing disciplines and also outdoor adventures.

On returning from Singapore, Eunice joined a leading tour operator as the operations manager. In 1997 together with Malcolm, Eunice ran the organisation and logistics for sports tourism events and tourism product development such as the first natural resort rock climbing wall at Royal Mulu Resort and was also instrumental in organising the ground arrangements for the Sarawak leg of Le Tour de Langkawi, Asia’s most known road bike race and the Rainforest Cup, SE Asia’s leading mountain bike race.

Eunice was also managing and running logistics for many adventure video productions such as Hans Rey Borneo Headhunt, Exploasi Malaysia and Extreme Benar.

Eunice expanded her recreation to include mountain biking, rock climbing, bouldering, other ropes disciplines as well as trekking. She is sport science Level 1 qualified and is a strength trainer for the Sarawak state under 23 sports team and also led and managed teams for national level competition.

Mel Jitam like his father Malcolm,  started adventure at a young age following his parents on mountain bike rides and rock climbing. While he was still at school he began to assit in the running of events especially in technical areas such as marshalling and overseeing race stages.

As his experience grew, he took on more responsibility and took on more senior positions in running events and activities. He is a qualified rock climbing instructor and instructs mountain biking.
