Fairy Cave Climbing Area
Sarawak has a fantastic natural climbing wall at the Fairy Caves, Bau.
In 1999, together with a group of Australians came to bolt and put up
sport climbing routes here. It has some of the hardest and technical
routes found in SE Asia.
There are several walls here: Batman wall (main climbing area), the Roof
(where some of the hardest roof climbs are found), and the Stage (Baby)
wall. The Nepenthes and multi-pitch wall are found at the Fairy Cave.
The Zoo wall is on the same mountain on a different side about 3km away.
